MSHP: 2 traveling too fast for conditions in Andrew Co. crash

ANDREW COUNTY — One person was injured in an accident just after 7p.m. Thursday in Andrew County.


The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported 2003 Ford Ranger driven by Christian R. Pinzon, 21, Maryville, and a 2003 Infiniti driven by Rozalynn M. Irvin, 21, Maryville, were northbound on U.S. 71 at U.S. 59.


Both vehicles were traveling too fast for conditions, according to the MSHP. The Ford slid off the east side of the road and overturned. The Infiniti slid off the road and struck the windshield of the Ford.


Pinzon refused medical treatment at the scene. Irvin was not injured and wearing a seat belt, according to the MSHP.
