Local law enforcement has issued a silver advisory, asking the public to help locate a 72-year-old St. Joseph man who went missing early yesterday afternoon. Both the St. Joseph Police Department and the Buchanan County Sheriff’s Department have requested help in locating Carey Utterback, last seen at 5:15pm Wednesday at 7755 NE Cook Road in St. Joseph. Utterback is described as a white male, age 72, 5'10", 200 pounds with gray hair and brown eyes. Utterback was wearing a cream-colored coat, blue jeans and, black shoes. Utterback suffers from dementia. He might have left the residence on an orange tractor.
