The Coffee For a Cure fundraiser held last month in St. Joseph raised nearly $7,000 to benefit local breast cancer causes. According to Mosaic Life Care, The Human Bean in St. Joseph generated $6,903.34 in sales, tips and donations to benefit the Mosaic Life Care Breast Cancer Patient Assistance Fund. Mosaic Life Care Auxiliary is matching the donation, making it $13,806.68, a 36-percent increase from last year’s event. Mosaic Life Care Auxiliary supports the Breast Cancer Patient Assistance Fund, which provides mammograms, education and post diagnosis support for breast cancer patients in the St. Joseph area.
