STONE COUNTY— One person died in an accident just before 12:30a.m. Monday in Stone County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2017 Honda ATV driven by John S. Lawyer, 52, Kimberling City, was westbound downhill on Red Oak Lane in Kimberling City. The ATV overturned and landed on the driver.
Lawyer was pronounced dead at the scene and transported to Stumpff Funeral Home. He was not wearing a helmet, according to the MSHP.
