HOLT COUNTY — A Skidmore teenager was seriously injured in a crash just before 9:30 a.m. Thursday in Holt County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2000 Ford Explorer driven by Chloe M. Abrams, 17, Skidmore, was southbound on U.S. 59 five miles north of Oregon. The SUV traveled off the road, returned to the road, crossed the center line, traveled off the east side of the road and overturned.
Atchison-Holt EMS transported Abrams to Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph. She was properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the MSHP.
