2 Missouri men hospitalized after truck overturns

NODAWAY COUNTY — Two people were injured in an accident just after 2:30p.m. Friday in Nodaway County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2002 Sterling driven by Scotty L. Lininger, 49, Burlington Junction, was eastbound on route JJ five miles west of Hopkins.


The vehicle traveled off the road and the driver overcorrected. The vehicle returned to the road and overturned.

Clarinda EMS transported Lininger to Clarinda Regional. Nodaway County EMS transported a passenger Delbert L. Lininger, 77, Skidmore, to Mosaic in Maryville. They were not wearing seat belts, according to the MSHP.
