The Northwest Missouri State University Bearcat volleyball team comes in at No. 8 the first NCAA Division II regional rankings of the 2019 season.
The top eight teams from each region will qualify for the 2019 NCAA Tournament.
The Bearcats have recorded wins this season over No. 4 Northern State and No. 7 Central Missouri. Northwest owns an overall record of 18-6, which includes a mark of 16-6 in region matches. Northwest's six losses have come against No. 2 Nebraska-Kearney (twice, No. 6 Washburn, No. 7 Central Missouri, Central Oklahoma and Drury.
