Ruth Ann Brant, 98, lifelong resident of Andrew County, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, April 15, 2026 with her loving family by her side.
Ruth was born on July 6, 1927 in Rosendale, Missouri, to the late Caroden and Claudine (Mackey) Brewer. She was a 1945 graduate of North Andrew High School.
Ruth married Robert F. Brant on September 11, 1946 in Troy, Kansas, and made their home together on their family farm.
Family and farming were at the forefront of everything that Ruth knew and stood for. At a young age she helped care for her ailing mother, in addition to caring for her father and brothers.
Her love and dedication to the family farm was admirable. She worked long and hard hours right along her husband’s side and sold eggs from home for manyyears.
In addition to her parents, Ruth was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert; brother, Walter Brewer; infant sister, Patsy Brewer and her step-mother, Helen Brewer.
Ruth is survived by three brothers, John Brewer (Betty), Stoddard, Wisconsin; David Brewer, Port Angelas, Washington and Daniel Brewer (Beth), Rosendale, MO and numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside Service and Interment 10:30 AM Friday, April 17, 2026 at the Savannah Cemetery. Arrangements under the direction of Heaton-Bowman-Smith Savannah Chapel.
