BMS to add $15M facility in St. Joseph

BMS Logistics has announced it will invest nearly $15 million in a 350,000 square foot expansion of its business in St. Joseph.


The St. Joseph Chamber of Commerce announced BMS has purchased 21 acres from the St. Joseph Business Park Corporation to construct the new building in Eastowne Business Park.


“After 30 plus years headquartered in St. Joseph, we are excited to expand our presence and look forward to continued growth with the addition of our new facility,” Dan Bayer, President of BMS Logistics said in a written statement released by the Chamber. “This 350,000 square foot construction provides much needed space for ongoing opportunities in contract packaging and finished goods distribution. We believe St. Joseph is strategically located to support current customers and new opportunities moving forward in the years to come.”


BMS Logistics is a value-added logistics and warehousing company that specializes in product displays, contract packaging, warehousing, order fulfillment, and e-commerce. With this addition, BMS Logistics and its partner company, RitePack, Inc., will operate in over 3 million square feet, which includes food grade warehousing and climate-controlled storage at multiple locations in St. Joseph, as well as locations in Kansas City, Nebraska, and Pennsylvania.
