Missouri man, teen die after head-on crash with semi

REYNOLDS COUNTY —Two people died in an accident just after 11:50a.m. Tuesday in Reynolds County.


The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 1996 Chevy Blazer driven by Edward L. Baugh, 41, Black, Mo., was northbound on Highway 49 seven miles north of Lesterville.


The SUV crossed the centerline into the path of and struck a 2016 Freightliner semi driven by Joseph C. Miller, 52, Poplar Bluff, head-on.


Baugh and a 16-year-old passenger in the SUV were pronounced dead at the scene and transported to Mcspadden Funeral Home.  Miller was transported to the Iron County Hospital. Baugh was not wearing a seat belt, according to the MSHP.

Police attempt to identify man wanted for lewd behavior on KU campus

The incident occurred on a sidewalk between Hashinger and Lewis Halls. Authorities released security camera images of the suspect who left the area in a dark 4-door vehicle. Police need help identifying the suspect. If you have information, call police.
