Donna Lynn Wilson 1935 - 2024

Donna Lynn Wilson, a cherished mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away on March 30, 2024, at the age of 88, in St. Joseph, Missouri. Born on December 28, 1935, in Caldwell County, Missouri, to Ira L. and Goldie I. (Martin) Pemberton, Donna's life was a testament to her loving nature and nurturing spirit.

Donna dedicated 24 years of service in the Dietary Department at Mosaic Life Care before her retirement. She poured her love and care into her work, gaining the respect and affection of her colleagues and those she served. Her professional contributions and the friendships she fostered there remained an important part of her story. She was also a longtime member of Wesley United Methodist Church.

Beyond her work, Donna's passions were rooted in the unconditional love she had for her family. She is survived by a loving family that includes her daughters, Pamela Million (Mike) and Susan Voss (Hank); grandchildren, John Voss (Jayme), Adrian Johnson (Thaylan), Michael Million, Bradley Million (Misty), and Blair Costello (Tyler); and great-grandchildren Mason Voss, Maddox Voss, Tristan Johnson, Tobias Johnson, Monica Million, Merideth Million, Lucy Costello, and Annie Costello. She also leaves behind siblings, Dorothy Oswald and Billy Pemberton.

She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Junior, Jack, and Bobby Pemberton, sister Mary Bathgate, and grandson David Million.

Donna's memory lives on in the handmade blankets she lovingly sewed for her grandchildren, earning her the endearing title of Grandma D. 

Farewell Services and Public Livestream 1:00 P.M. Friday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. Interment Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will gather with friends one hour prior to the service.
