2 hospitalized after car goes airborne, overturns in Nodaway Co.

NODAWAY COUNTY — Two people were injured in an accident just after 10:20p.m Friday in Nodaway County.


The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2001 Ford Taurus driven by Tanner A. Wilcox, 20, Parnell, was eastbound on MO 246 four miles east of Hopkins.


The vehicle traveled off the road, struck a field entrance, became airborne and overturned.


Nodaway County EMS transported Wilcox and a passenger Clayton F. Farrell, 21, Maryville to Mosaic in Maryville. They were both properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the MSHP.
