WORTH COUNTY — One person was injured in an accident just before 1a.m. Sunday in Worth County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 1999 Pontiac Sunfire driven by Michael W. Hamilton, 24, Albany, was westbound on Route J three miles west of Grant City.
The driver failed to negotiate a curve. The Pontiac traveled off the road and struck a tree.
Worth County EMS transported a passenger Nellie R. Enderle, 22, Stanberry, to Mosaic in Maryville. Hamilton was not injured, They were not wearing a seat belts, according to the MSHP.
