MWSU women's golf finished 12th at UIndy Invite

CARMEL, Ind. - The Missouri Western women's golf team finished up play at the UIndy Fall Invitational Tuesday afternoon. Through three rounds of play, the Griffons finished tied for 12th place out of the 15-team field with a team score of 972.


Tammy Lim and Allycia Gan finished strong for the Griffons. Lim scored a 78 for the final round and had a tournament score of 233. This performance tied Lim for 33rd place. Gan scored an 86 in the third round and finished the tournament with a score of 234, tying her for 36th.


Anna Bech finished the day with a round three score of 85 and a tournament score of 237. This performance placed her as tied for 42nd.


Cindy Herrera and Madi Vine shot tournament scores of 271 and 275, respectively.


The Griffons will take a week and a half off before they go to their next tournament. They will travel to Axtell, Nebraska to perform in the MIAA Fall Preview on Sept. 24.
