MSHP: 2 hospitalized after semi runs stop sign

HARRISON COUNTY — Two people were injured in an accident just before 9p.m. Monday in Harrison County.


The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2016 Freightliner semi driven by Jack L. Christy, 53, Hagar City, WI, was southbound on the offramp from Interstate 35 to Route N in Eagleville.

The semi failed to stop at a stop sign and struck a 2004 Chevy Impala driven by Charles W. Swindle, 66, Blythedale.


North Harrison Ambulance District transported Swindle and a passenger Diana K. Swindle, 61, Blythedale, to Harrison County Community Hospital.


Christy was not injured. All three were properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the MSHP.
