MWSU women's golf in 11th after day one of UIndy Invite

CARMEL, Ind. - The Missouri Western women's golf team finished up the first day of the UIndy Fall Invitational on Monday. After two rounds, the Griffons placed 11th out of a 15-team field with a team score of 634.


Allycia Gan led the way for the Griffons with a team-low score of 148. She also tied for 14th place individually headed into Tuesday's final round. She was one of two Griffons who finished in the top-25, with Anna Bech scoring 152 for day one and being tied for 24th place.


Tammy Lim, Cindy Herrera and Madi Vine scored a 155, 182 and 185 through day one respectively.


The Griffons will be back in action bright and early Tuesday morning for a third and final round in Prarie View Golf Club.
