One person is dead after sustaining life threatening injuries in a car versus pedestrian crash late Tuesday night in St. Joseph in the area of Highway 36 and Riverside Road.
St. Joseph Police report that at approximately 9:47 p.m. on Tuesday, September 1st in the area of 36 Highway and Riverside Road, officers responded to a report of a vehicle striking a pedestrian. The male pedestrian suffered life threatening injuries and was later pronounced dead.
The St. Joseph Police Department Traffic Unit is investigating the crash. No additional information is being released at this time. The roadway has since been reopened to traffic.
