Lavonna "Luv" Criqui, 83, of Holton, died Tuesday, August 13, 2019 at her home.
She was born September 15, 1935 at Clyde, KS, the daughter of William and Mildred Houdek Klima. She graduated from Belleville High School and later from the Brown Mackie Business College in Salina. Luv worked as a secretary to the superintendent of schools at Concordia, was a bookkeeper for the Mutual Reinsurance Bureau in Cherry Valley, IL, and after moving to the Holton area she was a secretary for the Adkins Insurance Agency in Holton. She was a member of the Hoyt United Methodist Church. Luv married Marvin W. Criqui on May 28, 1956 at Concordia. He survives, of the home.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Larry Klima.
Other survivors include a son, David W. Criqui and wife Cathy, Avondale, AZ; one sister, Darlene Melton and husband Chuck, Wichita; four grandchildren, Theo, Daniel, Sabrina and Skylor, and one great grandson, William.
A Memorial Service will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, August 22nd at the Chapel Oaks Funeral Home in Holton. A visitation will follow the service until 8:00 p.m. Inurnment will be later in the National Bohemian Cemetery at Cuba, KS. Memorials are suggested to the Susan G.
