Flora Virginia Lockhart, aged 82, of Faucett, Missouri, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, November 26, 2025. Born on September 30, 1943 in Leavenworth, Kansas, she was the beloved daughter of the late Flora and Edward Huffman. Flora was a proud graduate of Leavenworth High School and the Hayes Beauty School. On November 19, 1963, she married Mark Lockhart, who survives her at their home.
Flora was a talented and creative individual who enjoyed crafts, ceramics, crochet, art, painting, and drawing. She was a cherished member of the Riverside Baptist Church, where she found community and spiritual fulfillment.
Flora is survived by her loving husband, Mark Lockhart. She was predeceased by her parents, Flora and Edward Huffman, and two brothers: Edward and Grant Huffman. Survivors include: husband, Mark Lockhart of the home, two son, David (Barbara J.) Lockhart of Platte City, MO, and Mark T. (Barbara C.) Lockhart of St. Joseph, MO, a sister, Mary Walker of Lansing, KS, and a brother, Raymond Huffman of Farmington, NM, five grandchildren: Marcus Lockhart, Suzan Lockhart, Robert Davis, Tony Davis, and Shanin Kirkland, and 10 great grandchildren. Mrs. Lockhart will be cremated under the care of the Rupp Funeral Home. Her memory will be cherished by all who knew her.
