DEKALB COUNTY — One person died in an accident just after 9p.m. Wednesday in DeKalb County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 1995 Chevy pickup driven by Thomas J. Peters, 39, Stewartsville, was eastbound on NW 348th one mile west of Route K five miles south of Stewartsville.
The driver lost control of the pickup. It traveled off the road and the driver was ejected.
Peters was pronounced dead at the scene. He was not wearing a seat belt, according to the MSHP.
