Sharon Dianne Rachow, age 86, St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, February 11, 2026.
She was born in St. Joseph to Norman Delos and Sylvia LaVina (Hawkins) Zancker on April 12, 1939.
Sharon graduated from the Convent of the Sacred Heart in 1957. She met and married Thomas Eugene Rachow in 1968 and attended Southern Illinois University beginning in 1970 while Tom was finishing his PhD there.
After returning to Missouri, Sharon began working for the Kansas City Chiefs as the Executive Assistant to the Vice President and General Manager Jack Steadman. Because the job was so demanding of her time and she had two small children, she eventually returned to St. Joseph and began a long and successful career in residential real estate sales.
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, Norman and Sylvia and her son, Todd Anthony Rachow.
She is survived by her husband, Tom and daughter Tiffany Kianne Rachow.
The family will gather with friends 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. Monday, February 16, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society or the Epilepsy Foundation of Missouri and Kansas.
