Kay'lani Rose DuPree, 6 weeks old, of St. Joseph, passed away Friday, March 31, 2023 surrounded by her family. She was born February 15, 2023 in Kansas City, MO, daughter of Natalie Clemmer and Zeroun DuPree.
Kay'lani was a strong girl. She loved her head being rubbed and being in her mom's arms. She will be remembered for her big blue eyes and dimples.
Kay'lani was preceded in death by her paternal great-grandmother, Antoinette Dupree.
Survivors include: mother, Natalie Clemmer, father, Zeroun DuPree, maternal grandmother, Brandi (Shawn) Lewis, paternal grandparents, Lisa and Eli Reed, maternal great-grandmother's, Mary Clemmer and Kathy Wysling, all of St. Joseph, paternal great-grandfather, Robert DuPree of St. Louis, MO, aunts and uncles, Mia Dupree, Jabaar Jackson, Sydney Bryant, and Bentlee Deatherage.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM on Tuesday at the Rupp Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be 3:00 pm, Tuesday, April 4, 2023 at the Rupp Funeral Home. Memorials are requested to the Kay'lani Rose Memorial Fund, c/o Rupp Funeral Home. The family ask's everyone to wear pink to the services in memory of Kay'lani.
