Lloyd Delynn Wetmore, 67, reunited with his loved ones in heaven October 19th 2023, at his home in Elwood Kansas. He was born December 28th of 1955 in Forest City, Missouri.
Lloyd was a dedicated Son, Brother, Uncle, Father, Papa and Friend. He was preceded in death by his parents, Father Elmo Cress, Mother Daisy Cress, Brother Richard Wetmore, Sister Zoe Humphrey, Sister Tonga Wetmore, Daughter Samantha Hennard, Granddaughter Hayven Holcomb.
Lloyd devoted his life to taking care of his parents in sickness and health. He was a loyal brother and teaching uncle. He spent his free time cooking for his family and took a lot of pride in his home cooked meals. He spent countless hours working on his home or outside barefoot working in Hayvens garden. He was truly the best papa to his grandbabies and spoiled them to no end. If you knew Lloyd you knew he had the best life advice for everyone who was there to listen. He was proud of his family and always took the opportunity to show it. Lloyd was the life of the party by telling stories of his younger days with his best friend Gary.
His life will be remembered by his surviving siblings Annis Henderson of Stewartsville, MO, Dale (Karen) Wetmore of Troy, Kansas, Deala Diane (Richard) Wetmore of Saint Joseph, MO, Bobby (Dink) Wetmore of Saint Joseph, MO, Roxy Gardener of Saint Joseph, Mo. His Children Melissa (Brandon) Holt of St George, SC, Jeremy Bouge of Frisco, TX, Brandon Bouge of Ames, IA, Amanda (Trevor) Holcomb of Wathena, KS, Sheila Hennard, Derrick Hennard and Courtenay Hennard all of Red Oak, Tx, Rebecca Wetmore of Elwood, Ks. His most precious grandbabies Cherokee (Harper), Elisha, Kaylin, Aiden, Hunter, Kian, Brecken, Ryder, Elizabeth, Madelynn, Hayven, Hadelynn, Kingston. Several Nieces and Nephew along with Great Nieces and Nephews, Cousins, and friends.
Lloyds Celebration of life will be October 27th 2023 at Renew Church 2808 Pembroke Lane, Saint Joseph, MO, 64506 from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. Cremation under the direction of Simplify Cremations & Funerals.
