Charles G. Dew, 72, Country Club, Missouri, passed away Sunday, April 6, 2025.
He was born December 17, 1952 in St. Joseph.
Charles married Carla Glasbrenner on March 18, 1978. She survives of the home.
He worked in construction, then taught building trades at Hillyard Technical School for 30 years before retirement.
Charles enjoyed riding motorcycles, vintage cars, and the outdoors, especially visiting national parks. He loved spending time with his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; infant son, Adam Patrick Dew; and sister, Connie Pawling.
Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Carla; son, Justin of Mesa, Arizona; daughter and son-in-law, Rebecca and Jordan Reilly of St. Joseph; grandchildren, Abraham and Olive Reilly; sisters, Karen Combs and Melissa Dew; and brother, Michael Dew.
The family will gather with friends 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. Friday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory.
