A St. Joseph driver escaped serious injury after a car fleeing from police clipped her car, flipping it over.
St. Joseph police report an officer attempted to pull over a black sedan at 23rd and Olive around 1:20 this morning. The driver fled south on 23rd Street, then east on Lafayette.
Though police decided against pursuit, an officer spotted the vehicle driving west on the parkway and attempted to stop him, but the driver took off again, this time clipping a car on Olive Street, flipping it on its roof. The driver of that car was taken to the hospital to be treated for minor injuries. The suspect fled on Olive and escaped.
