26-year-old charged with 2nd degree murder in St. Joseph shooting death

A 26-year-old St. Joseph man has been charged with second degree murder in the shooting of a 38-year-old early Sunday morning.

Devin Sollars is scheduled to appear in court tomorrow morning, charged with shooting and killing Jeffrey Grippando.

St. Joseph police found Grippando dead from a single gunshot wound at a residence in the 1800 block of North 2nd Street at around 4:20 Sunday morning.

Sollars is being held in the Buchanan County jail without bond.
