Pavement repairs planned for U.S. Route 36 in St. Joseph

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. - Pavement repair work will affect travel on U.S. Route 36 in St. Joseph this week.

According to the Missouri Department of Transportation, Herzog plans to repair portions of the pavement on Route 36 between the Missouri River and the Platte River, east of Riverside Road.

The work is planned to take place during daylight hours Wednesday through Saturday. One lane of 36 will remain open throughout the work. Some single-lane closures may remain in place overnight.

During this time, Herzog also plans to work on pavement improvements at the intersection of Frederick Avenue and Woodbine Road. Crews plan to close Woodbine on the north side of Frederick at 7 a.m. on Thursday. The road will remain closed until approximately 7 p.m. that same day.
