Joyce Ann Cadwallader was born July 16, 1949, to Alberta Mary Cadwallader whom proceeded her in death.
Joyce graduated from Lafayette High School in 1967. Joyce began her career as a CNA at Methodist Hospital in December 1967 until July 2004. Joyce then joined Living Community in 2004 and continued until her retirement in 2013 as a CMT.
Joyce enjoyed many travels over her lifetime to Hawaii for her 18th birthday, many trips to Las Vegas and to New Orleans and Washington DC. In later years she enjoyed throwing darts with the “girls from the Missourian”. Joyce cherished spending time with her nieces and nephews. Joyce enjoyed telling stories of days gone by and the family that preceded her. Joyce treasured her lifelong friendship with Kathy and all her children.
We want to thank all the many caregivers over the past few years that took care of Joyce. There are too many to mention but “THANK YOU”!
Joyce Ann Cadwallader was born to Alberta Mary Cadwallader whom proceeded her in death. Joyce was also proceeded in death by her two brothers Dennis R. Cadwallader and Merl M. Cadwallader Jr. and one nephew Ricky L. Cadwallader and one great nephew Joshua Bowen Jr.
Survivors include 5 nephews, Larry Cadwallader (Anne), Terry A. Cadwallader, Travis Cadwallader (Tiffany), Scott Cadwallader (Sheri), Dennis Huber (Jena). 2 Nieces, Jennifer Cadwallader – Jimenez (Bobby) and Amanda Cadwallader, sister in laws, Eleanor Cadwallader and Joyce E. Cadwallader. 4 great-nephews (Tyler, Bryce, Caleb, Jagar) and 5 great-nieces (Haley, Cassandra, Chelsey, Isla, Holland, Mavis) and 2 God daughters (Tina and Kristi), and many lifelong friends.
