Motorcyclist injured in NW Missouri accident

MERCER COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just before 5p.m. Thursday in Mercer County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2007 Harley Davidson Electric Glide driven by Wayne S. LaRue, 48, Clarinda, Iowa, was eastbound on U.S. 136 six miles east of Princeton. The driver failed to negotiate a curve. The motorcycle traveled off the north side of the road, struck an embankment and overturned.

EMS transported LaRue Harrison County Community Hospital. He was wearing a helmet, according to the MSHP.
