A 26-year-old man is in custody after a fatal shooting over the weekend in St. Joseph.
St. Joseph police report witnesses heard one shot at the back of a residence in the 1800 block of North 2nd Street very early Sunday morning.
Few details are being released at this time as police continue to investigate.
Police received the call around 4:20 Sunday morning. The victim was a man in his late 30s. The 26-year-old was arrested. Charges are pending.
