St. Joseph health officials report an additional coronavirus-related death as well as 231 new COVID-19 cases since last issuing an official report on Monday.
The St. Joseph Health Department says a woman in her 90’s died of COVID-19, raising the Buchanan County death toll since the pandemic began to 229.
The health department reports 79 new cases on Tuesday, 82 on Wednesday, and 70 on Thursday.
The Buchanan County positivity rate is 14.55%.
Mosaic Life Care reports it is treating 57 COVID-19 patients in its system; 48 in St. Joseph, seven in Maryville, and two in Albany.
