Frances Maxine Hilt, 81, of St Joseph, Missouri, passed away Sunday, November 9, 2025 at a local health care facility.
She was born September 25, 1944 in St. Joseph, daughter of Charlotte and Roy Helton. On April 25, 1964, she married Robert "Bob" Hilt. Frances worked at Sherwood Medical, and spent many years as a Homemaker. She enjoyed cooking and sewing, spending time with her grandchildren, and watching classic movies.
Frances was preceded in death by her parents, husband of 58 years, Robert "Bob" Hilt, and son, Robert "Robby" Hilt II. Survivors include: daughter, Belinda (Steve) Meng of St. Joseph, grandchildren, Bethany Meng (Fred Farmer), Shelby (Michael) Weston, and Steven Meng II, all of St. Joseph, and sister-in-law, Kathryn Hilt of Chicago, IL.
Ms. Hilt has been cremated under the care of Rupp Funeral Home. A Private Family Graveside Service and Inurnment will be held at a later date at Ashland Cemetery. Memorials are requested to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
