John Studer, 84, of Wathena, Kansas passed away Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at the Wathena Healthcare & Rehab.
John was born on April 14, 1941, in Wathena, Kansas to Pete and Catherine (Fahey) Studer Jr.
John attended St. Joseph’s Grade School and graduated from Wathena High School in 1961. He was a lifelong farmer and a gardener. He loved raising chickens.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Gerald and Larry Studer.
Survivors, siblings Cathy Coy (Vernie), Janice Studer, and Tony Studer (Shelley), all of Wathena, Kansas; Marilyn Perry and Bob Studer (Wendy), both of St. Joseph, Missouri; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Funeral Service: 11:00 A.M. Friday, January 2, 2026, at the Harman-Rohde Funeral Home in Wathena, Kansas.
Visitation will be 10:00 A.M. 1 hour prior to service at the funeral home.
Burial: Mount Calvary Cemetery, Wathena, Kansas.
Memorials: Wathena EMS or the St. Joseph’s Catholic Church Renovation Fund.
