Steven Kalamon, 73, of St. Joseph, Missouri passed away Saturday October 21, 2023 at Mosaic Life Care. He was born January 6, 1950 in Stuttgart, Germany son of Anna & Gregory Kalamon. He married Tamela Kalamon on March 10, 1970. Steven worked at Madget Demolition and Wreaking, and Pony Express Warehouse. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, and spending time outdoors. Steven was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Tamela, sons, Stefan Kalamon, and Jeffrey Kalamon, brother, John Kalamon, sisters, Kathryn Kalamon, and Helen Walters. He is survived by son, Chad (Tricia) Kalamon of Oregon, MO, brother, Mike Kalamon, sisters, Olga Smith, and Mary Lindsey, grandchildren, Ashley, Steven, and Mariah, and great-grandchildren, Caden, Grayson, and Sicilia. Funeral Service will be 10:00 am Friday, October 27, 2023 at Rupp Funeral Home with Caleb Sandlin, officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm on Thursday at Rupp Funeral Home.
