A GoFundMe account has been established to offset the funeral expenses for a St. Joseph man hit and killed by a car in the early morning hours of last Sunday.

GoFundMe reports Jason Goldesberry died in a hit-and-run Sunday morning, December 1st.

The St. Joseph Police Department reported earlier that a pedestrian was killed when a vehicle left the roadway, struck the pedestrian, then crashed into the porch of a house between Madison and Green Streets around four o’clock that morning.

“Jason's life was taken in a hit-and-run early morning on December 1st. Jason leaves behind his fiancé, three children including his new baby girl, and two bonus children. Jason's family desperately needs your help donating to funeral expenses so that he receives proper services,” the fundraiser reads.
