St. Joseph Chamber to host candidate forums in March

The St. Joseph Chamber of Commerce will host a series of Public Affairs Coffee sessions throughout March, providing a platform for local candidates to address the community ahead of upcoming elections.

The series begins Wednesday, March 4, featuring candidates for the St. Joseph School District Board of Education. The forum will run from 7:30 - 9:00 a.m. at the Stoney Creek Hotel and Conference Center, located at 1201 N. Woodbine Road. Kevin Waltman of Eagle Media will serve as the moderator. For those unable to attend in person, the session will be recorded and broadcast on 680 KFEQ the following day at 9:00 a.m.

A final forum is scheduled for Wednesday, March 25, focusing on the St. Joseph City Council candidates and the finalists in the mayoral race. This session will also be held from 7:30 - 9:00 a.m. at Stoney Creek. All candidates from their respective races have been invited to participate in these events, which are presented by Farmers State Bank.

Registration is required for all attendees to cover the cost of a full breakfast. The fee is $15 for Chamber members and $20 for the general public. Interested parties can register online at saintjoseph.com or by calling 816-232-4461.
