GRUNDY COUNTY—Two were injured in an accident just before 4:30p.m Monday in Grundy County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2016 Nissan SUV driven by Courtney J. Clause, 34, Trenton, was northbound at NW 10th Avenue at NW 3rd Avenue one mile north of Trenton.
The Nissan struck the drivers side of a westbound 2006 Chevy pickup driven by Luke D. Schilling, 18, Trenton, at the intersection. The driver's vision was obstructed by tall corn.
A private vehicle transported Clause and a passenger Heidi J. Chaney, 38, Cainsville, to Wright Memorial Hospital. Schilling was not injured. All three were properly restrained, according to the MSHP.
