Katherine "Kathy" (Osteen) Nelson 66, of Agency, MO passed away Sunday, August 6, 2023 at her home in Agency, MO. She was born January 27, 1957 in St. Joseph, MO, daughter of the late Patricia and Jack Osteen.
She graduated from Benton High School and worked as a manager at the Rusty Chandelier for several years. She enjoyed garage selling, going to auctions, she loved planning the family get together's and parties, and organizing flea markets at the Rusty Chandelier. She also loved animals.
Kathy was preceded in death by brother, Quintin Rodney Osteen, and her parents.
Survivors include; son James (Stephanie) Wright, daughter, Jacoba (Dustin) Burns, St. Joseph, MO., brother, Michael Osteen (Nancy Gore), Agency, MO, two granddaughters, Danica Burns, and Jillian Wright, and step mother Pat Osteen, as well as several nephews, nieces cousins and lots of beloved friends.
The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 PM on Thursday at the Rupp Funeral Home. Funeral services and public live stream; 10:00 am, Friday, August 11, 2023 at the Rupp Funeral Home, The Interment will be at the Memorial Park Cemetery.
