CALDWELL COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just before 4:30p.m. Sunday in Caldwell County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2016 GMC Sierra driven by a 16-year-old girl from Kidder was northbound crossing U.S. 36 and failed to yield. A westbound 2019 Ford Expedition driven by Patricia L. Eggers, 58, Olathe, struck the pickup.
A private vehicle transported the teen driver to Cameron Regional Medical Center. Eggers and a 16-year-old male passenger in the pickup refused treatment at the scene. The teen passenger was not wearing a seat belt, according to the MSHP.
