ATCHISON COUNTY, Kan —Law enforcement are investigating a 2-vehicle crash that occurred just after noon Monday in Atchison.
A 2018 Ford Focus driven by Phillip DiMaggio, 61, Ocoee Florida, was northbound on 4th Street in Atchison, according to Police Chief Mike Wilson.
The car was turning east onto Main Street and and was involved in a crash with a 2012 Freightliner semi driven by Miles Ruch, 73, Craig, Missouri who northbound on 4th Street and was turning east onto Main Street. EMS responded to the scene and fortunately nobody was seriously injured or required hospitalization.
