GRUNDY COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just before 2a.m. Sunday in Grundy County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2017 Pioneer UTV driven by Caden L. Ashford, 19, Chula, was southbound on Yucca Lane five miles northeast of Chula. A passenger identified as Jarica L. Nelson, 18, Chula, fell out of the UTV.
Grundy County EMS transported Nelson to Wright Memorial Hospital. Ashford was not injured. They were not wearing helmets, according to the MSHP.
