St. Joseph health officials report 4 additional COVID-related deaths

St. Joseph health officials report four more coronavirus-related deaths in Buchanan County.

Health officials say a man in his 70s died on Thursday. They say three deaths in September have just been reported to the St. Joseph Health Department; a man in his 90s, a man in his 70s, and a woman in her 80s. All had underlying health conditions.

Buchanan County reports 52 new COVID-19 cases on Thursday, bringing the county total to 2,673. There now have been 32 coronavirus-related deaths in the county.

Mosaic Life Care reports 45 COVID-19 patients in its St. Joseph hospital currently with four in Maryville.

Mosaic has now tested more than 34,383 area residents with slightly more than 2,568 testing positive. Mosaic is awaiting results from 274 tests.

Total COVID-19 cases in Andrew County have now topped 400, with a total of 409. The county has had three coronavirus-related deaths.

Doniphan County, Kansas reports 114 cases of COVID-19.

Missouri health officials report 129,397 total cases since the pandemic began, resulting in 2,144 deaths.

Kansas health officials report the state has had 59,749 total cases with 678 deaths.
