COVID-19 protocol has once again shuffled around the MIAA basketball schedule this week.

Both Northwest Missouri State men’s basketball games this week, at Washburn Thursday and at Emporia State Saturday, have been postponed. The Northwest women will also not play their Thursday game at Washburn due to COVID protocol within the Ichabod program.

No makeup dates have been announced yet.

The Bearcat women are still set to play at Emporia State on Saturday at 1 p.m.

The Missouri Western men and women are still on as scheduled at Emporia State Thursday. The women tip at 5:30, the men at 7:30. Both of those games will be on KFEQ Radio (680, 95.3) with coverage starting at 5 p.m.

Missouri Western’s women will not play at Washburn Saturday. That game has been postponed to a later date to be determined.

The Missouri Western men are still set to play at Washburn on Saturday at 3 p.m. That game will also be on KFEQ Radio (680, 95.3) with pregame starting at 2:30.

There have already been three other MIAA basketball dates impacted by COVID this week. The Missouri Southern/Missouri Western men's game scheduled for this past Monday has been rescheduled to Jan. 17 at 5:30 in St. Joseph.

A Saturday men's game between Fort Hays State and Lincoln has been postponed, along with a Rogers State/Newman women's game that was slated for Thursday.
