NODAWAY COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just after 12:30a.m. Wednesday in Nodaway County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2001 Hyundai Accent driven by Ethan M. Bentley, 29, Stella, NE., was westbound on Franklin Place in Maryville.
The driver made an abrupt left turn onto southbound Main Street. The car began to skid, traveled into the northbound lane and into the path of a 2017 Ford Taurus driven by Tyler C. Salsbury, 33, Barnard.
Nodaway County EMS transported Bentley to Mosaic in Maryville. Salsbury was not injured. Bentley was not wearing a seat belt, according to the MSHP.
