The Pony Express Museum is adding exhibits and hosting speakers this month.

The museum recently received a catalog on loan from Huston and Megan Wyeth: the 1915 Wyeth Company Annual Catalog, Saddle Edition. They'll be putting it on display April 25th and 26th, with sponsored free admission for those days. Both days exhibits will be open from 1-3 PM, at 914 Penn Street.

Also on the 26th, the family of Lee Shifflett will bring artifacts from the Re-ride of the Pony Express. There will be a showing of movies about the 1960 ride from Saint Joseph to Salt Lake City, as well as footage from 1967. That will be April 26th, at 1:30 PM, Pony Express Event Center, 1220 South 10th Street.

The museum is also adding on to the display of the wooden horse Stormy Dodger, with the story of Louis Killackey, the man who donated the horse to the museum.
