Larry H. Evans, 81, of St. Joseph, formerly of Dearborn, MO, passed away April 13, 2024. Larry was born November 13, 1942, in St. Joseph to Howard and Wilma (Ogg) Evans.
He attended Faucett High School. Prior to retirement he worked for Westtab. He also worked for a number of years at Dave Mears filling station in St. Joseph, and was a member of the Missouri National Guard.
Survivors include two sisters Kay Fisher (Steve), Linda Searcy (Terry); brother Ron Evans; other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Larry enjoyed fishing, gardening, and Elvis songs.
Services will be Thursday, April 18, 2024 at 6:00 pm at Heaton-Bowman-Smith & Sidenfaden Chapel. Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm at the funeral home. Private inurnment will be held at a later date at Dearborn Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Amedisys (Asera Care Hospice).
