It appears we indeed did have a tornado Monday evening.
The National Weather Service is now reporting a tornado moved through Buchanan County Monday, between St. Joseph and Agency.

The Weather Service describes the twister as an EF-0 tornado that moved through the county shortly after 8:30 Monday night, staying on the ground until about 8:40 that evening.
Winds are estimated to have peaked at 85 miles an hour, with a path of a bit more than four miles in length and 20 yards wide.
Some damage, no injuries reported in wake of the storms.
