Barbara Joyce Crockett, 94, of St. Joseph, passed away October 30, 2025. Barbara was born June 10, 1931, in Fort Riley, KS, to Edgar C. and Alpha Dene (Cohoon) Burkey.
Survivors include two daughters, Leslie Loar (George), Barbara Deputy; three step-sons; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Swain Deputy, Leslie Marriott, Kenneth Crockett; sons Bradley Deputy, Mark Marriott, and Brian D. Marriott.
Barbara had a great sense of humor. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed reading and writing poetry, and loved all different kinds of music.
Visitation will be Wednesday, November 12, 2025 from 10:00 am until 12:00 noon. Private interment will be in Leavenworth National Cemetery, Leavenworth, Kansas.
