Missouri man injured after SUV goes airborne over creek

CALDWELL COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just after 5:30p.m. Sunday in Caldwell County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2005 Chevy Blazer driven by Kyle G. Kelly, 27, Braymer, was eastbound, downhill on Soo Line Drive three miles southwest of Braymer.

The driver lost control on the icy road. The SUV traveled off the right side of the road, became airborne over the creek, struck the creek bed on the opposite side and overturned.

Caldwell County EMS transported Kelly to Liberty Hospital. He was not wearing a seat belt, according to the MSHP.
