BUCHANAN COUNTY—Two people were injured in an accident just after 1:30p.m. Saturday in Buchanan County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee driven by Tremayne E. Jackson, 47, St. Joseph, was northbound on Interstate 29 just south of the I-229 interchange.
The Jeep rear-ended a 2003 Toyota Matrix driven by a 17-year-old boy from Agency who had slowed to avoid an earlier accident in front of them.
Buchanan County EMS transported the teen driver and a passenger 19-year-old Sidnee A. Carr of Easton to Mosaic Life Care. Jackson was not injured. All three were properly restrained, according to the MSHP.
